Hydrocolary patches are a kind of injured clothing that helps keep humidity and create a humid, healing environment for pimples, burns or injuries. “They are made of water-attached material that is attached to a truly thin plastic movie,” says cosmetic chemist Michelle Wong. “So if you have an open pimple, for example, it can suck the push.”

Although hydrocoloid dressings have been used for injuries since the 1960s (the dressings were originally developed in the 1930 years by a dentist), not until the early 2010 years that pimple -pimples appeared on skin and beautiful shelves.

If applied to swollen pimple – typically one with fluid – the heat of your skin mitigates the lining of the sticker, helping it suck the dirt and gunk. It also acts as a protective barrier, which shields the lack of further anger or spread. If you have ever taken out a patch to find the lower side lined in a nasty white substance, this is a mixture of the hydrocoloid gel and the excess oils pulled from the skin. This healing process also prevents you from choosing at the pimple – a habit that can lead to longer healing times, infection and scar.
