Another fight last night where Canelo Alvarez put in a perfect performance and no one can say he is pound for pound the best boxer in the world.
I created a video below where I talk about where I think Alvarez falls in the (best ever) category, and I’m sure I was the most shocked by the choice.
During his fight last night, I thought Avni Yildirim’s style was made for Canelo. But then I think his style was not made for Canelo. He has dominated many of the people he has faced aside from Floyd Mayweather, but that was when Alvarez was only 23 years old.
Alvarez is the most advanced fighter I have ever seen and he just keeps getting better.
Now he’s matched with my Olympic teammates and friends billy joe saundersI think this is the only fight everyone wants to see.
I’m very excited about this. Will Canelo finally meet someone with a style that prevents him from continuing to make history, or will he go on to become the greatest of all time?
