Biden, Hunter He has begun a new job in the nonprofit homeless prevention and tenant rights group in southern Los Angeles, revealed.

“I just think there’s a chance to serve now—not in some dramatic way—but I’m just, a lot of people, you know, you know, here in Los Angeles, beat them here, right in Los Angeles. Biden said.
Biden added: “I am working with a group called Basta, “Homeless Prevention” and I’m just starting to be the development director of Basta, the leading homeless prevention and tenant rights group in southern Los Angeles.”

Basta said on its website that it was founded in 2005 and has become “the most comprehensive tenant rights organization in Southern California.”
“We have more than 15 lawyers and 10 employees in four full-service offices, which can meet almost all the needs of the tenant community (legal or otherwise)” said the nonprofit.

“Basta pioneered a strategy to bring all eviction defense cases to a jury trial, a right under the California Constitution. Instead of a case decided by a single judge, it was a case decided by a community member – including many tenants. Strategy work. Basta won more jury cases in eviction cases than more jury cases in every other organization in Southern California.”
