I have always loved education, but after six semesters on college and thousands of dollars of student loans, I had three insights that changed my idea of what makes a “worthwhile” training.
Despite my love of learning, I could see that I had made a mistake by asking for a degree in philosophy, since it was unlikely that it led to a career that earned enough to quickly repay my debts for student loans. Second, I have found that what I love more than learning myself is a practical way to implement all the knowledge.
