22 ballerinas from Philadelphia hold her shawl, made by costume designer Perry Meek, on 72 steps. Vincent met half of her when playing Diana Ross’s “Not High enough Peaks”. Their arms stretched out and they walked to the top together, Sheryl wearing a pair of Christian Dior Tribales Pumps.
“Cheryl is beautiful –yes Beautiful,” Vincent said of his wife. She was just all, and a bag of barbecue chips.”
Sheryl’s daughter Coco currently helps her mother. “Fashion is the absolute theater for me,” Cheryl said. “I come from the stage and I like the drama you bring on the stage.” Instead of a veil (more fitting for the first wedding), imagine a shawl with a length that can only be started by veterans on the stage and screen. Meek, known for working with Lady Gaga, Cher and Janet Jackson, understood the task immediately. She wore a custom white dress from Monsoori Haute Couture. For accessories, Sheryl chose the Diamond Cartier watch.
The couple said their own vows centered on the power of love and community, in front of guests such as Al Roker of Pennsylvania Austin Davis, Pennsylvania lieutenant governor and Sorority Sisters from Delta Sigma Sigma Theta.
After that, it was time to go to the museum for a reception, which included Philandco’s dance and Sheryl himself, who sang “Love” by Nat King Cole. (In addition to award-winning Abbott Elementary School, She is known for her role as Tony in her original Broadway production Dreamgirls.)
Given their milestones, do Vincent and Cheryl have any marriage advice? Sheryl provides the following: “Don’t give up on love. Don’t give up on alliance. Don’t give up on each other’s promises.”
Below, the vows of Sheryl Lee Ralph entering Philadelphia and Sen. Vincent Hughes are updated.
