As part of the promotional push for Batman Ninja Vs Yakuza LeagueThe next week’s edition, Warner Bros. Japan has released a false opening for Go! Bat PhoenixHypothetical ’70-style DC-RIFF about classics such as Science Ninja Team Gatchaman Or Vates v. The short opening, complete with classic pop music for theme, sees Batman, Red Hood, Nightwing, and Red Robin join a properly ridiculous and dramatic launch sequence combining their various individual vehicles into the bat, or really, the beating of steroids.

The vibrations are Immaculate. The fault faded effect of the filmmaker, the simplified reefs on Batman Ninjadrawings (Dick’s hair looks like he could only be drawn from a frame of Fast racer Or Captain Tsubasa? Incredible), the dramatic posing mid-launch sequence. It is a wonderful love letter to a classic anime, but it is also one who only suits Batman as a character.
It is not like him that he also does not have such a retro legacy-not just an obvious parallel to the 1966 re-appreciation Batman Television series in recent years, but in how this feels so reminiscent of Joyo kwata Batman Manga, that kind of floating hero in the vein of Batman’s western gold and silver interpretations. There is no absurdity here in contrast to the dark knight with tone and aesthetics that are not appropriate, because, well … he makes. Extremely good!
And now I have to continue living in reality where Go! Bat Phoenix Don’t have a three-season run on Max (However– from our lips, to the ears of James Gunn). At least we have Batman Ninja Vs Yakuza LeagueOut digitally beginning March 18, to give as a more modern anime interpretation of the bat family to type us.
