Team Ikuzawa Work with Japanese glasses experts Local son To reveal the “Ultimate Driving” sunglasses released on July 11, 2025. Designed for drivers and riders, the limited edition frame (called racing legend Tetsu Ikuzawa) is known as the “TETSU” and combines wine racing with modern features of grape man racing.

Each pair is handmade with custom Beetle, gold and silver titanium and Shima optics, made in Fukushima, Japan. The straight temple accommodates helmets, while the lenses feature anti-responsive and hard coatings for optimal clarity and relief of fatigue.

This concept, Mai Ikuzawadrawing inspiration from legends such as Senna, McQueen, Newman and Françoise Hardy, aims to reclaim an era and make the style perform well without compromise. “The pilot feels formulaic and this framework has to evoke emotions,” Ikuzawa explained.

Creative Director Tommy O’Gara Local sons jointly developed the design, while the campaign features British racers and designers Nick Ashley and photographed by a well-received fashion photographer Frederike Helwig. Joining the campaign’s Charm is a guest appearance Tutil Porsche 911k – a $1,100,000 carbon-body vehicle under 850 kg, revs at 11,000 rpm. Sunglasses celebrate the spirit of independence, legacy craftsmanship, and a lifelong passion for speed together.
