Happy birthday, Jack MossFrench fashion houses are over 15 years old. Despite being officially celebrated on the runway on Capri last year, the brand has now released an archival-inspired capsule collection called “Les Quinze Ans.”
In a 15-year period, Jacquemus quickly became an industry darling known for major celebrity moments, extravagant destination performances, and modern sculpture silhouettes suitable for the global socialites in southern France. “Les Quinze Ans” revisits some of these iconic moments and designs.
Re-edited works include the Castagna Minidress worn by Kylie Jenner on Maeght’s iconic SS24 “Les Sculpture” show last year. Other designs, such as the 2013 White U Dress, give a deeper look at the brand’s archives, reminiscent of its starting point for the movement era. For lookbooks, each design is reimagined on a series of timeless characters, from Jackie O’s First Lady to a bridal mummy and an eclectic art teacher.
The capsule collection is a celebratory reflection of the brand’s precious history, pushing the past to the present and beyond. In the next 15 years? Jacquemus has not grown yet. “Les Quinze Ans” is available now Online and at select global retailers. Prices range from $350 to $2,590. In honor of the series, Jacquemus will take over window displays from retailers around the world over the next two weeks, including the Manhattan flagships and Harrods from Saks Fifth Avenue.
