“He never attended an open border, and you would think he was never a transgender person or a man who played in the women’s movement,” Trump said.
The president then turned to face the Juventus player and asked a question.
“Can women become your team, boy?” he asked.
The players exchanged a glance, but none of them answered.
The president then turned to facing the team general manager Damien Comolli and asked the same question.
“We have a really good team of women,” Colley said.
But Trump pressed Comolli, repeating the question: “But should they play with women?”
Comolli did not provide an answer at that time.
“Look, they’re very diplomatic,” Trump scoffed.

Trump has made the battle of trans athletes among women and girls a key pillar of his second administration agenda.
Trump signed an order to “remove men from women’s sports” on February 5 after a serious campaign on 2024. The order prompted the NCAA to change its gender eligibility policy so that only biological women can participate in the female category.
However, Trump’s executive order was strongly resisted by leaders of national democratic countries.
Trump’s administration has filed a lawsuit against Maine and has been sued by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. The federal title IX investigation has also begun on high school sports leagues in California and Massachusetts.
