Los Angeles Democratic mayor Karen Bass sparked controversy on social media this week after he tried to intervene in the ice sheet agents who carried out the immigration attack, calling it “outrageous” and “non-American.”
Bath, who has been a vocal opponent of the city’s immigration raid, appeared on the scene and asked to speak with the ice leaders during an operation near MacArthur Park on Monday.
“They need to leave, they need to leave now. They need to leave because it’s unacceptable!” said the bass on the scene.
Bass claimed on social media that there were kids playing in the park, and even during the day, the area was called a hotbed of homelessness and crime.

“A few minutes ago, there were more than 20 kids playing, and then, the army passed,” Bass Posted on X. “The second time I heard about this, I went to the park to talk to the person in charge and told them that it needs to be over now. It’s absolutely outrageous.”
Bass’s action sparked immediate push from critics Social Media.

In addition to the influence of social media, Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino told Fox News that he was the official bass on the live phone when she asked to stop the raid.
“I don’t work for Karen Bass,” Bovino said. “It’s better to get used to us now because it’s going to be normal soon. We’ll go anywhere anytime we want in Los Angeles.”
