At least nine people died in a mother and her 7-year-old daughter exist Kentucky Officials said Sunday that after a severe flood attack.

“So, guys, stay away from the road now and keep your life alive,” he said. “This is the search and rescue phase and I’m proud of all the Kentuckians who responded to make their lives online.”

Beshear says There have been 1,000 rescues across the state since the storm began on Saturday. The storm eliminates electricity from about 39,000 homes, but Beshear warns that strong winds in some areas may increase disruptions.
