Kevin abstract Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, several hours outside Houston, he spent most of his teenager’s time before moving to Georgia. On his fourth solo studio album, Abstract ushers in the spirit of his hometown, with one of his sharpest storytelling genres, Needle-punch albums.

“2024: I’m dealing with the feeling of heartbreak, addiction and total loss. It feels like I’m erasing myself from me. “So I left the city I’ve been to since I was 19 and returned home. Just watch some N*GGAs that I honestly knew me,” he continued back home, back in Houston, opening a store at his friend Boyer’s, where he recorded when he first started writing music in middle school.
“There is no fancy hardware or nothing. It’s just me, a microphone, and some feeling I don’t say it out loud. Outside of the record I’ve written the most, I gave me some beats (…) and despite it being bothered, it became something I loved. I started to find myself again. blush. ”
