The New York Knicks head coach search seems to be in full swing.
Making surprising decisions Tom Thibodeauthe Knicks now see Jason Kidd as a potential candidate to replace the fourth-largest coach in the series.
According to ESPN, the Knicks are actively reviewing Dallas Mavericks’ head coach Jason Kidd.

Since Kidd signed a contract with the Mavericks, the Knicks had to submit a formal request to speak with the Dallas coach. Knicks has not requested permission to interview Kidd, source Tell ESPN.

Kidd reportedly spoke to the Knicks in 2020, but Thibodeau got the job. Thibodeau led the Knicks to its first Eastern Conference finals berth since 2000. Indiana Pacers Eliminated New York in six games.

Before working as head coach for the Mavericks, Kidd served with the Nets and the Bucks. He has also served as an assistant coach for the Lakers since 2019-21.
