The mural is located in the stylish district in downtown Los Angeles, about 20 miles from Paramount, where it took place for a few days.

The artwork was initially defiled in April and just recovered on May 30. Lakers stars Luka Doncic Help paid for the restoration of the mural.

It took weeks to fix the mural. Artist Louise Palsino celebrated the restoration a few days ago in an Instagram post.

“The Kobe and Gigi murals are fully restored by everyone who donated to Go Go Fund Me,” he wrote. “How great situations bring so many people together to bring something bigger back. It’s a lot to have so many people show up to help. I really feel like LA is enjoying it.”

No suspects were named. It is not clear whether the mural will be restored for a second time.

Bryant is an NBA superstar who spent 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers, and his daughter was killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas in January 2020.
