Kristin Davis It was revealed that one of her “Melrose Place” co-stars gave her cold shoulders as they worked together in the 90s’ best prime time soap opera.

In the recent appearance “Hey man… 90s called!” podcast, the 60-year-old actress recalled that when she played the role of evil Brooke Armstrong in the third season of “Melrose Place” from 1995 to 1996, she “feels like I won the lottery.”

However, the Sex and City star told hosts Christine Taylor and David Lascher that “there was never a moment of confidence in Aaron’s spelling series, especially because one actor wasn’t very friendly to her.

“There are so many people (on the scene) so many people,” Davis said. “I felt since then that I’ve obviously seen all of these people, and many of them are so cute. But then… it was very competitive.”

“I have my friends, I like it Marcia Cross I’m so close, it’s so nice,” she continued. But there’s one, you know, she won’t talk to me. Like, she won’t talk to me.

“I’ve never been with her, so that’s not a problem. But I said, ‘Good morning,’ (she won’t respond).”

Taylor noted that she had similar experiences in co-stars, especially as she recalls the “times” where actors are alert to “anyone who might threaten your job.”

“We all went through that kind of experience, ‘Oh, I don’t think they like me here, but I’m just here like a cameo star (character) or anything else, right?”

Davis said she took the opposite approach when she starred “Sex and the City,” Describe yourself as a “passion committee” when new actors join the cast or attend guests’ appearances.

“I tried to get there quickly, like, ‘Hi, because I remember that terrible feeling,” Davis recalls. “It’s terrible.”

Despite Davis’ negative experiences with a co-star, he shared that being part of the “Melrose Place” was “amazing”, she was disappointed with her work on the show.

“Melrose obviously has a lot of intimidating ways,” Davis said. “I mean, I’m growing up… looking at all the ‘Dallas’ and ‘dynasty’ and blah and so on.”

“So, it means a lot to me,” she added. “Obviously, it’s just a job, too. Like at some point, you’re like, ‘I won the lottery. Like, I have a job. I can’t believe it.’

“It’s amazing from a young actor’s perspective,” she added. “And, I mean, as far as I know, I’m going to be there. Like, I didn’t know I’m going to be just one season, I believe it’s 32 episodes, and now it’s crazy to think about it.”

Davis told the media that she was worried about her “very, very long hair” because other actresses on the show had shorter hair. She recalled that she considered cutting her hair but decided to object.

“I remember coming in, it was just three of us, and each one was fine,” Davis recalls. “It wasn’t a horrible room, and then you went in one at a time.

She continued: “I remember Hilary coming out, she looked young and had shorter hair and a little bit of athletic.” Then Meredith also had longer hair. I was like, ‘Oh, OK. ‘”
