Abdullah Mason vs. Floyd Scofield’s sparring video leaked on YouTube today, showing “Kid Austin” being dominated by top-promoted Mason. Most of the videos show Southpaw lightweight contender Mason, who tracks Schofield around the ring, hits him in the head and body with a large shot.
Schofield missed a lot, held, and kept his balance after shooting. He looks uncomfortable and sometimes gets bothered by the pressure of 5’9-inch Mason high. At the end of the crystal, Schofield shot some big right hands at Abdullah’s head and body.
Leaked sparring video analysis
The leaked sparring clip refuted what Floyd Schofield Sr. said about his son having to be relaxed with Mason. What we see from the edited video is that Mason dominates the entire 3.27-minute clip. We don’t know who edited the clip and what was deleted.
There is a good chance that the person who is doing the editing has an agenda to make Abdullah look good. So the part he looks good is intact and the area ruled by Schofield is edited. With edited videos, you just don’t know.
Line clip age and environment
We don’t know how long the quarrel happened. In its final battle with Tevin Farmer on June 28, Schofield looks much bigger than the game in the video. In that battle, he appeared Weigh 15 to 20 pounds More than what he did in sparring.
This shows that the clip is at least 1-2 years old. This may not sound like a lot for older fighters, but it can have a significant impact on those in their 20s who are still developing.
Apart from the selective editing of age and videos, the size of the gloves and headdress take away anything that would win the fight between them. These look like 16 oz gloves, worn by both warriors, and eliminate the effects of many shots.
