One of the people who made the comment was Michele Tafoya, EX-NFL Reporterhe thinks Clark’s peers are “jealous” about her.
Tafoya appears “Don’t be with Dan Dukic,” She further raised her mind about the matter.

“I thought we were turning around here, Dan,” she said to Dukic. “I thought we saw her teammates let her come back. I thought we might be frustrated with this obsession with Caitlin Clark.
“It really felt almost like hatred for her, but it was obviously jealousy. She got a great state farm ad and everything was better from the logo – very smart, very smart.

But Tafya, like many others, couldn’t believe Clark was far away on the list. Some think it may be because she struggled in recent games, while others talk about her having only nine of the 16 games this season due to injury.
Tafya didn’t want to hear it.
“The ninth best defender in the league? Don’t try to give me excuses, ‘Well, she’s been struggling lately, or, ‘She missed some games with injuries.’ Come on, it’s insanity, I think it’s a radical vote for women in the WNBA who can’t stand her success at all.

Paige Bueckers, Dallas Wings rookie and No. 1 pick in this year’s WNBA draft, ranks highest in the voting phase of three stages: fans, media and players. She ranks second in fan rankings, fifth in media rankings and fourth in players.

Clark averaged 33.3 minutes per game this season, 8.9 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals. Only Mercury, Phoenix, Alyssa Thomas is probably one of the league’s head coach’s 12 All-Star game reserves and will announce this Sunday that their assists have more assists (9.3), and she moved the hardwood in 12 games this season.
Clark also received 1,293,526 votes from fans.
