More Nike X Legolands have surfaced

Summary

  • Nike and LEGO release two sets later this year
  • First is the “Nike Dunk Style”, a 454-piece Lego with a movable dunk and a statue.
  • The Grand Slam Dunk Kit is an 809-piece kit that depicts the hoops of the middle buckle, courts, scoreboards and fans

More Nike and Lego Collaborative projects have surfaced, based on successful partnerships with two new dynamic sets. These creative kits go beyond simple presentation models to reimagine sneakers and basketball culture in brick form with an emphasis on interactive games.

The first set, titled “Nike Infusion Tips”, is a clever 454-piece work. At its core, it is a low-top sneaker in red and white, probably inspired by the classic “St. John” dunk, which is a mobile platform. A small Lego figure stands on the shoe, which is attached to the movable board. This allows builders to manipulate the movement of their shoes, thereby guiding the body to perform a slam dunk in the micro hoop in front of the build. This is a fun and interactive homage to the art of skill shooting.

The second set of “Slam Dunk” offers a wider and detailed scenario. This 809-piece kit has a hoop in the air, traveling vigorously towards the hoop. The building includes meticulously detailed frontcourt, feature scoreboards, and even tiny fans in the stands, capturing the energy and sights of climax basketball moments. This larger suit offers a more immersive storytelling experience, turning static bricks into scenes of dynamic motion action.

These new LEGO Nike sets demonstrate the brand’s shared commitment to creative expression and cultural resonance. They attract a wide audience, from sneaker enthusiasts and basketball fans to Lego collectors, providing a fun and engaging way to build, play and showcase the iconic sneaker and sports culture. So far, the release date for the new LEGO collection has not been disclosed. The duo’s first release is priced at $100, and it’s not sure if the price of the new product is similar.
