Lawyers for Elon Musk intend to move to dismiss a case that accuses the CEO of Tesla, who is also the head of President Donald Trump’s Doge OrganizationFrom using AI-generated, copyright-violating “Blade Runner”-inspired images at Tesla Press event.
In archiving Subject to the US District Court Central District of California, Western Division late on Tuesday, lawyers for Musk said that Musk and Tesla, who is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit, will relocate to dismiss “all claims” for relief with prejudice. “With prejudice” is a legal term meaning that a case is suspended constantly and cannot be redone.
The plaintiff in the costume, Alcon Entertainment, intends to oppose the movement, according to the archiving.
