Nasher Sculpture Center proposes large-scale Antony Gormley investigation

The exhibition extends beyond the museum and has installed new location-specific works on the roof of the skyscraper in downtown Dallas. These elevated sculptures, made of stainless steel tracks, will capture and reflect to the Texas sky.

Inside Nasher, Gormley’s sculpture selection will interact with the museum’s architecture to study the relationship between the human body and space. A dedicated gallery will showcase his massive global projects, including Angels of the North, and the workbooks he has carried since the 1970s.

In the news report, Gormley describes the exhibition as a “test site” of the sculpture, inviting audiences to participate in form, space and perception.
