one North Carolina The city hall activity of Republican Congressmen became increasingly intense as a man stood up and started yelling him, yelling, “You don’t give me f–about me!” before being accompanied by police.
The outbreak took place Thursday night at a university auditorium in Asheville, hosted by Rep. Chuck Edwards, who serves the state’s District 11.
“In my opinion, the debt crisis has been largely overlooked for too long, and it’s time to resolve how Washington works. For this, I’m honored to vote for a recently-provided House budget solution,” Edwards told the audience before being interrupted by Boos and Jeers. Then, he said, “You want to know why people don’t want to do these town halls.”
A moment later, one of the audience began to yell at Edwards, saying, “You said nothing but lie. You were lying. I am a veteran, you don’t give me f–about me!”

“You can’t take us away.” The man continued to shout. “You’re not going to do this to us!”
The audience in the room applauded when the man was evacuated from the room by law enforcement.

Edwards later said on X that he had a “living town hall with my voters in Asheville.”
