The charges followed a month-long investigation after Høiby’s multiple arrests in 2024. Oslo police Attorney Andreas Kruszewski confirmed the number of victims in the “double degree”.

Kruszewski said the allegations included one rape case, two rape cases without sexual intercourse, four sexual assault cases and two personal injury, The Associated Press reported. Kruswsky also reportedly said that during police inquiry, the 28-year-old Hobby was collaborative.
