Nothing Phone (3) Review: The Designer Phone

I like to stare at at the Nothing Phone (3). It is not generally better than Comparable priced smartphonesBut it is visually distinct, and let’s be honest, a little strange. But weird is good. Phones are amazing at the moment, are you Spend $ 300 or $ 1,300. When they can all generally do what we expect, aesthetics comes to the forefront.

From the red recording light on the back of this Android phone from $ 799 to the strange pedometer widget, which tracks your steps with a stick figure, the phone (3) feels fresh and unique. That is nothing mode of operation. It may not be the most powerful device on the market or the best smart camera around, but I like to hold and use it. Every time I fly it and play with the new Glyph Matrix screen, I smile. There is a lack of elevation and fun in electronics today, and nothing is here to put us back on the right path.

I can’t say if there’s nothing to wait another two years to release the phone (4), but more companies need to follow and move away from the annual smartphone cycle. There is a reduced environmental effect, more time to polish the phone, and a more efficient result. The phone (3) may not feel a dramatic change of the phone (2) Out of aspects, but it feels more refined, and every aspect has been upgraded, from the cameras and battery to the screen.

The back follows a grid pattern, which represents the three printed circuit boards inside. The cameras are divided into specific squares, and are visible screws, circles and slices around, which add a whimsical feeling to a Techy product. The star of the show, however, is the Glyph Matrix, some screen composed of large LEDs. It’s amazingly more useful than I expected.

This glyph -matrix can light up when you get calls and notifications, like the old glyph LEDs in previous nothing -phones, but because it’s some screen, it’s more functional. There are a handful of “toys” from a glyph, as nothing calls them, which you can look through. I like the game, rock, paper, scissors, and the Magic 8-Ball, the latter, which is made with the community of nothing, so you can expect to see more fun third toys on the way. Then there are more utilization focuses, such as the position of the sun, time, battery meter, chronometer, and even level!
