Maybe in response to political pressure, Openai is To explain That its AI models will not run away from sensitive issues when refusing claims that may “turn off some points of view.”
In an an Updated version of its model specCollection of advanced rules that indirectly govern the Openai models, Openai says that its models “never have to try to drive the user by age from agenda from [their] own, whether directly or indirectly. ”
“Openai believes in intellectual freedom, which includes the freedom to have, hearing and discussing ideas,” the company writes in its new model spec. “The [model] Do not have to avoid or censor issues so that, if repeatedly, can turn off some views of public life. ”
Many of President Donald Trump’s close allies, including Elon Musk and Crypto and AI “Czar” David Sacks, have accused AI-powered assistants of Censorship conservative views. Sacks have sang Openai’s Chatgpt especially as “programmed to be awake” and unwise on politically sensitive issues.
