Mayo then exchanges words with white sock field warrior Miguel Vargas and Sosa, and as the conversation intensifies, the referee stands near them. Eventually, Mayo retrieved his helmet and returned to O’s Dugout on the first base line, but he reached out his right hand and pushed Sosa to his chest along the way. Rojas then pushed the mayonnaise from behind.
The removal prompted both the bench and the bullpen to be cleared, and the team gathered in the middle of the field. The referee eventually resumed orders in any physical form, and both teams retreated.
