Parrots who have received mock drug-related phrases in Help the British police Authorities revealed this week that the narcotics network operated in the prison was removed.
Lancashire Police Between February 2023 and July 2024, allegations were announced against 15 people linked to the gang, which allegedly carries drugs in Blackpool, England. The organization is headed by 35-year-old Adam Garnett, who has been sentenced to jail when exposing the operation.
After the investigation began, prison officials searched Garnett’s cell and found multiple cell phones and Wi-Fi routers. The discovery led to police entering several of his alleged colleagues, including Dalbir Sandhu, Shannon Hilton and Jason Gerrand. Search their houses heroin, cocaine, ketamine, ketamine, Marijuana, large amounts of cash and cell phones are allegedly linked to drug dealing.
One of the more strange findings came from Hilton’s phone, which police said contained videos showing her parrot, named “Mango,” repeating “25 Dual Repeats,” a dubious reference for drug deals. Another clip reportedly showed that the birds were allegedly playing cash in connection with illegal profits.

“What can your pet do? Sitting? Talking to Paw? Lancashire Police wrote in an article on the department’s Facebook page.
“A drug dealer’s parrot learned to say ‘two for 25’ – this sentence is part of the common language used by her boyfriend’s organized crime gang. Not a phrase, you want the parrot to open when a police knocks on the door!”
Investigators also found video calls between Hilton and Garnett, and videos appeared to show the kilogram-sized packaging of cocaine, sometimes accompanied by musical lyrics citing the drug.

Other evidence from the suspect’s phone includes showing off a lot of cash, drug-related rap lyrics and videos of documented drug dealings.
Garnett was sentenced to another 19 years and 6 months in prison for serving 15 consecutive years. Hilton, 29, received 12 years, while Sandhu, 41, was sentenced to 10 years.

The bust is part of Lancashire Police Department’s operation, a program designed to combat organized crime, drug trafficking, exploitation and violence in the area. The initiative was supported by police and crime commissioner Clive Grunshaw, who praised the arrest and conviction.
“This sends a clear message: We won’t tolerate organized crime in the community. I’m still committed to providing law enforcement with the resources they need to shoot down these gangs and protect the public.”
