Tennis legend Martina Navratilova In a recent interview, the writer was criticized on Saturday by actor Pedro Pascal in defense of “Harry Potter” writer JK Rowling.
Rowling and Pascal have clashed over transgender issues in the past, including Rowling celebrating the UK Supreme Court’s ruling on the definition of women’s law.

Rowling dismissed Pascal in a social media post on Friday, while Navratilova added Navratilova.

Navratilova was a lifelong Democrat, but never wavered her push to prevent biological males from competing with girls and women in sports.

She has made it clear in the past that she is not a supporter of the president Donald Trumpand a quick scan of her social media post will highlight this. But she regrets the Democrats’ inaction over the issue of trans athletes participating in women and women’s sports.
