A new national poll shows Americans are divided over the president Donald Trump’s Deploy the National Guard and the U.S. Marines to the second most populous city in the United States.
Try to put out escalating protests In Los Angeles Trump was triggered by an immigration raid carried out by ICE in the direction of his administration, sent out the National Guard and even mobilized the Marines. The president’s unrest and actions have dominated the national headlines.
In the Washington Post/George Mason University School Poll, 40% of the forty-one adults nationwide said they support the president’s move, 44% opposed it, and 15% were uncertain.
The survey was conducted Tuesday and questioned more than 1,000 adults nationwide, including 200 in California’s Blue State.

Trump controls the California National Guard without permission from the democratic government. Gavin Newsomfor the first time in 60 years, the president has not had the request of the governor.
Newsom led the boycott of Trump’s moves and took legal action to reverse the order.

A federal district court judge ruled this week that Trump’s actions were illegal and ordered him to return control of the civilian police force to Newsom. But the federal court of appeals quickly and temporarily blocked the lower judge’s ruling.

The survey also shows whether Americans support (39%) or oppose the protests (40%). More than one in five (21%) are unsure of their support or objection.

70% of Democrats (but only 39% of independents and only 6% of Republicans) support the protesters’ target.
According to the poll, Americans also disagree mostly in the protests (35%) or mostly violent (37%).
