Proenza Schouler releases FW25 Lookbook

After a noticeable lack of a beautiful schedule for New York Fashion Week, the Proenza Schouler team gave up on the FW25 Lookbook only two days after Thom Browne’s closing show. The series mature, comfortable and academic, represents the first step forward for the brand, without co-creating directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

Tim Elkaïm shot a clean nine-looking series in upstate New York and satisfies the classic Proenza Schouler sensitivity. Recalling fan favorites such as wool shawls, elevated footwear and tartan-accented dresses, the look book also hired veteran Proenza models like Binx Walton to implement a familiar sense of familiarity that shows that the brand often goes as usual , because the brand has no creative director for the time being.

The duo co-founded the brand in New York City 22 years ago, and he officially left on January 31 this year, a week before the start of the FW25 season. Previously it has been reported that McCollough and Hernandez will continue to serve as minority shareholders and work closely with CEO Shira Suveyke Snyder to find alternative creative directors to maintain the design legacy.

When news of their withdrawal broke out, Lauren Sherman of Puck News reported that the two planned to take over Loewe’s creative responsibilities, replacing Jonathan Anderson. So far, no public confirmation of plans for McCaulo and Hernandez, and Anderson has not officially left Loe.
