RM Sotheby’s Provides a rare piece Ferrari Development history Monterrey Auto Week:2011 Ferrari Laferrari The prototype M4 is expected to be sold for $900,000 to $1,200,000. This early test m-s are internally called the “F150 Muletto M4” and is part of the first phase of real-world development of hybrid Laferrari and has a hybrid V-12 powertrain mounted on a majorly modified 458 Italy chassis.

While the interior still resembles the 458, black leather seats, tan carpet and a 9,000 rpm white tachometer, the car’s dash toggle switch and high-voltage warning labels are tipped for experimental purposes. Externally, aggressive design tips such as exposed rivets, large forward air intakes, mismatched brakes, side-mounted powertrain channel hatch and high-rise air intake make it undoubtedly prototype. Although road or track use is not involved, this development represents a critical step in the transition to Hybrid Hypercars and represents a fascinating Ferrari enthusiast collector items. Bidding is scheduled to open on August 15 as part of RM Sotheby Monterrey Sales.
