These posts are commissioned by AI and displayed directly under the company’s advertisement site. Reddit claims that trials of the function have caused 19% higher click rate than standard ads.
Who … that’s great, I guess if you are an advertiser. If you are a user, you see that ads occupy a little more screen space. And you may see your posts and conversations transformed into free advertising for a company. Presumably, if you talk positively about brand, you may not care if you see this transformed into a marketing campaign. Social evidence Certainly there is no new concept of marketing and is a cheap and easy way to establish credibility by striking the feedback of users.
