Bobert made a comment at the legislative hearing Bay of America Take action to support Trump’s executive order.
“I want to warn my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to avoid making fun of the United States because it may end up being the U.S. region we are working on,” she said during a hearing on the Water, Fisheries and Wildlife Subcommittee.

She added: “So, just know, let the jokes avoid jokes, maybe we’re sticking with the American Bay now.”

Trump has often criticized DC leaders for not being able to escape violent crime cities.
