In the latest alleged incident at Luna-Perez, officers from the Lakewood Town Police Department responded to reports of the crash before 11:30 p.m. on July 26.
A preliminary investigation found that Luna-Perez allegedly drove a Dodge Durango with two passengers, when he crossed oncoming traffic and faced a crash with a Nissan Sentra.
The prosecutor’s office said Nissan was driven by a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. Sitting in the front passenger seat is an 11-year-old girl identified by Ice as the woman’s daughter – she was taken to the South Campus of Monmouth Medical Center in Lakewood and eventually died of injuries.
