To celebrate a shared commitment to personality and artistic exploration, the clock blends the high complexity of Swiss watches with Dr. Woo’s signature single-needle tattoo style.
The concept of the watch rotates the “Galaxy Peace Mission” and draws imaginative clues from time and time. At the heart of this narrative is “Tourbillon Galaxy,” inspired by the Messier 51a (also known as the Whirlpool Galaxy), located at 31 million light years. Its graceful spiral motion reflects the mechanisms of tourbillon complications and the iconic astral form of Roger Dubuis. To retouch the design, Dr. Woo’s repeated rocket pattern appears on the sapphire crystal with the message “We’ll be peaceful” and is accompanied by a 10 o’clock laser grated spider and three ethereal Nebulas made with pink golden yellow in 9 O’Clock.
The 42mm case and bracelet are constructed in titanium and 18k pink gold, reflecting a sophisticated and futuristic aesthetic. Between 10 and 11 o’clock, a spiral component evokes the entrance to the black hole, symbolizing the passage through the “corridor of time”. The theme reappears on the back of the case, and is a striking chessboard spiral on the sapphire crystal that serves as a visual explanation of spatial distortion and cosmic depth. This is accompanied by the message engraved on the back, inviting distant forms of life into the dialogue of discovery.
Powering the watch is the manufacturer’s caliber RD515, which has been specially reconfigured for this version. Its tourbillon cage features reduced three-arm upper bridge to showcase the galactic spiral details of polished stainless steel. The RD515 offers a stable power reserve of 72 hours and is proudly equipped with Poinçon de Genève Hallmark, all 193 components are carefully handmade.
