Russian investigators said a highway bridge was blown up at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday at 10:50 a.m. GMT, while Russian investigators said passenger trains carrying 388 passengers to Moscow were passing by.
Investigators said just four hours later a railway bridge on the highway was blown up in the nearby Kursk region and showered with parts of the road from the freight train.

The Russian Commission of Investigation for Serious Crimes linked the incident and made it clear that both bridges were blown up.
In the Bryansk area, social media images and videos show passengers trying to climb out of the smashed carriage in the dark. Part of the bus was crushed under a collapsed highway bridge and lay next to the line.
“The bridge was blown up when the Klimov-Moscow train passed with 388 passengers,” the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, told Russian TV.

Ukraine did not immediately comment on the incident, a day before the United States wanted Russia and Ukraine to sit down and negotiate directly in Istanbul, discussing the possible end of a war that ended at least 1.2 million people, according to Washington.
The Ukraine HUR Military Intelligence Agency said on Sunday that the explosion allowed Russian military trains to haul cargo and refueling vehicles near Yakymivka settled in a Russian-controlled section of the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia region.
Despite Ukraine’s past claims of a series of attacks on Russia, the agency has not demanded responsibility or attributed the explosion to anyone.

Russian politicians lined up to blame Ukraine, saying it was clearly destructive and intended to derail the peace talks demanded by the United States.
“This is definitely the job of special services in Ukraine,” Andrei Kartapolov, chairman of the Russian Parliament’s Defence Committee, told the Shooting Telegram.
“All of this is intended to strengthen the position and fierce aggression of the Russian Federation before negotiations. It also scares the topimposeus. But they won’t succeed.”
The Kremlin said President Vladimir Putin was briefed by the Federal Security Agency (FSB) and the Ministry of Emergency to the explosion of the bridge throughout the evening. Putin also spoke with Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz.
