“It’s not aimed at the press,” Zito said of enthusiastic Trump supporters. “It’s aimed at cameras and let the country know that it’s unacceptable, that our country is at risk, and we need to be strong on that.”

Fox News confirmed that, ahead of the first anniversary of Trump’s first assassination, six Secret Service agents were suspended unpaid after Trump opened fire at a rally last summer in western Pennsylvania.
The Secret Service confirmed to Fox News that supervisors and line-level agents were suspended in February, ranging from 10 to 42 days.
Zito said in a conversation with Fox News Digital after preliminary reports on the agency’s suspension that it was “necessary” to put a pause on the logistics decision.

“I’m clear that the men and women who cared for President Trump that day were in the most important attitude in his details and that buffer zone,” Zito said. “They were doing the right job when those men and women put themselves in the line of fire.”
Zito refused to come down when he first heard the filming, saying Trump was “enclosed in a blue ocean.”
“They put him in a protective position and then put their lives on the boundaries,” Zito said. “In that moment, no courage should be taken away. Those field officers were heroes that day.”

The moment after the gunshot, Zito said that what she saw next was “really great.”
Zito explained: “People left there very in a very orderly manner. There was no rush. There was no stampede. You saw doctors caring for the fallen (or) injured people. But you mainly saw people running around with each other.”
Zito said it was “amazing” to see “how orderly people left behind”. An hour later, when she returned to the large parking lot, they didn’t put a car, so thousands of Trump supporters gathered.

“These people aren’t in the car, they share water, they hug each other, make sure they’re OK, they’re sharing food. They’re just talking. I’m really shocked by their competition at that moment.”
