There is only one word to describe Scottie Scheffler in Open Champion On the weekend – dominate.
Schefler ended the fourth round with a 68 mark and added an impressive victory to his resume.

Scheffler won the Open Championship for the first time in his career. His previous best was held at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland last year.
This year, Scheffler walks along the royal fairway in Northern Ireland, making another day in the office look like another day.
He started behind the game with a 68 first round but entered the area with 64 points in the second round. He had eight birdies in the second round, which pushed him to the rankings. The third round of 67 won him the championship.
Then, on Sunday, there were consistent and solid matches everywhere.
He won five birdies in the round, with only one bogey. He never wavered in the final round, and no one was really close to grab him.
Scheffler won four wins in 2025. He won Byron Nelson in May and then won the PGA title. In June, he overthrew Ben Griffin in the memorial.
Harris English ranked second with a par below 13. He shot 66 in the final round of the game. This is his best professional result in his career. Before Sunday, the best result was tied for 15th place in 2013.

Chris Gottrup also played in an incredible match with a poor 12 strokes. He hit the final round of 66 and finished third.
Life Golf Star Bryson DeChambeau may have had a tough time with Royal portrayals, but after his round he was back in the top 10.
He shot 78 in the first round and was at the bottom of the rankings when he entered the second round. However, 65 shots in the second round helped him advance. He shot 68 in the third round and scored 64 in the final round.
He obtained 24 spots and broke into the tenth tie.

Open Championship is the last major of the season. PGA Tour Now, LIV golf stars will finish their season on their respective tours and head to the Ryder Cup at the end of September.
