Winners

Aliens and predators

The legendary science fiction enemies occupied a center at Comic-Con 2025 and brought serious excitement to both franchises. Alien: landthe new FX show, projected an entire episodewhich fans seemed to love, and had one of the largest, most ambitious activities at the whole congress. Predator: BadlandsThe next theatrical release, confidently showed an unfinished first 15 minutes of the film, who were both incredibly awesome and very emotional. Was also Important activity And even a whole new, canonical changing end revealed for Predator: Killer of Killers that brings back the roles played Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover. In addition, there Could be another crossover In the future? Fans of both franchises had a very good comic book composing an even more exciting future.

Wile E. Coyote

After having his movie Coyote vs acme Unconsciously canceled by any corporation, the road-obsessed Coyote chose Comic-Con as the location to reveal the film in its new form. Now the film has a release date, A hilarious video footage has been displayedAnd hearing everywhere are ready to enjoy the search of one animal to take down the main corporation that failed him every time.

Hail Mary project

For a long time attendees of Comic-Con know that something special comes when studio spends the money to use the giant displays that Engulf Hall H will project content during their panel. This year, it happened with Project Hail Mary, The March 2026 film starring Ryan Gosling, based on Andy Weir’s book, and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The band was all there (as well as writer Drew Goddard) to talk about the epic science fiction adventure and screen almost 15 minutes from the film. Fifteen minutes almost eight months out of release? That’s a huge swing. And it worked.

Lego

Every company with a booth at Comic-Con wants to put something incredible in an exhibition. Something to bring the fans and talk them. This year, one booth did so to such an extent, it was almost unfair to everyone else. That booth was Lego, which centered around a massive model of San Diego Comic itself. It had the convention center, the show, all the cosmicists, and more. It was built with over 200,000 bricks, took over 1,500 hours to draw and build, and was populated by over 8,000 mini-figures. It was a really unforgettable sight.

George Lucas

George Lucas showing until SDCC’s last day was not on our bingo cards before it was announced. So when the creator took the congressional stage for the first time to a packed hall H on SundayIt was like a church. He received a full -standing egg, and it was so terrible to see him surprise about the reaction. Together with William Del Toro, Doug Chiang, and Queen Latifah, Lucas held a court to introduce his Lucas Museum as a temple to insert the power of mythology. The discussion focused on the intention of the museum to keep art accessible to the masses in a time, where propaganda seeks to wipe history, and the call to action was so incredibly moving. The panel felt the crown jewel of this year’s congress, which really spoke to why we were all there, celebrating the popular culture we love and that inspires us.

Pennywise the clown

However IT: Welcome to Derry did not receive a full panel, it obtained hell of a showcase, with co -workers Andy and Barbara Muschietti taking the stage Share the open scenes of the first episode. The images exceeded our expectations of Stephen King’s spray, promising a deeply critical (in all the best ways) series, which further the scary spirit of the movies, complete with stomach special effects and the favorite sewerage clown. The fact that the Welcome to Derry Showcase happened after 9 pm on Saturday night that we sighed when we first saw it along the SDCC schedule – but it actually felt the moment more exclusive, and because it was held in a smaller room, also more intimate.

Peacemaker

James Gunn brought Peacemaker To the partner for a fun panel, who gave some understanding of how the previous DCU show could move on to the current DC Studios era. Star John Cena showed dressed in his suit and discussed the character’s internal crisis. Off-site, Peacemaker Had a fantastic immersive activity that arranged timed rock shows for fans. It was really good to see clues on how the show will connect Superman– And as you went out, Peacemaker came on screen to drive you out, with the words under him warning that The dimension has worsened. So we assume that James Gunn is blowing the DCU, eh? He is a legend to get that final excavation at SDCC.

The toxic avenger

Remember that sad moment in history when worship movie fans thought Macon Blair Toxic Avenger Reimaging may not be released? We are now in a fully irradian period of joy, with the movie hitting theaters in late August and Toxie and Company Get a sprinkling presence at San Diego Comic. Fan projects took place outside the congress itself, while the director and cast (including Peter Dinklage and Elijah Wood, as well as legendary Troma founder Lloyd Kaufman) took the stage at Hall H to spread the Gospel of Splatter.

Interview with the vampire

The vampire Lestat It may be a year away, but fans of the Anne Rice immortal universe were treated to a first appearance that balanced the joint. Sam reid embodies the rock star Lestat With pure charisma and threat in the pictures we saw. We also learned who else joins the cast along with Reid, Jacob Anderson and Eric Bogosian – the name Delainey Hayles has to ring a bell, but it is not known if she will play Ghost Claudia or someone else. About the queen of the convicted, Akasha? Showrunner Rolin Jones worries that an offer was made to an actress, but still holds us in the dark about just who it is.

Clown in cornfield

Indie Horror movie that has already hit theaters, would usually not get spray activity just to celebrate their next streaming debut -but Clown in cornfield It’s a very fun movie, and it made sense that Shudder and AMC wanted to pay more attention. While not dedicated A clown Panel, author Adam Cesare hit the congress to sign copies of his source material novel, and just across the street from the congress hall, Fans could walk through activity That brought the story, complete with a really ingenious haunted corn.

Losers

Fans of comic pilcs

Over the past 20 years, San Diego Comic-Con has been zero for the latest and largest in comic book movie news. But, in 2025, it was essentially deserted. Yes, two very recent films are currently in theaters (Superman And The Ghost Four: First Steps) But outside many cosmic music for both, you didn’t really know it. DC President James Gunn was in front of the hand Peacemaker But did not talk about his current film or about future films. And Marvel, after designing its great summer 2024 edition Deadpool & Wolverine At the congress last year, all but ignored Fantastic Four. It was certainly a booth, but nowhere for anyone at the congress to see the movie (without going 15 minutes out of the way).

And yes, we know that both studios are at a time in relation to throws, with the next DC movie 11 months away and Marvel Studios’ next movie 17 months away, but it would be terrible to see or learn something. Anything.

Acme

In your face, Acme! You tried to get the panel for Coyote vs acme Close. You even tried to send some of your high -cost lawyers to drive all out of the stage. But it didn’t work. Filming was played, and excitement was sprinkled. Imagine being a company that wouldn’t want to release a movie that looks so fun, smart and attractive? Oh, acme.

Tron: Ares

This is strange because, on the surface, the Tron: Ares Panel had everything. Big stars, incredible effects, and some really fun pictures. There was even a booth on the floor with one of the most desired exclusions of the entire congress. But after the lights ignited after the panel, fans learned almost nothing about the movie. What is it about? Who are the characters? It was quite superficial, which, after the previous, much more informative and sincere panel for Predator: Badlands, felt like a huge contrast. Besides, while the pictures looked beautiful, it just seemed a little flat? We endure hope, especially with the certainly incredible nine-inch nails, but the panel let us want a little too much.

Jason voorhees

While it’s exciting to know that there is fresh energy behind the Friday the 13th franchise, The panel of Jason Universe There was perhaps one that could be held until a later date. There was just not much to share beyond theses. Fans received a quick trailer for Sweet revelationNext short film featuring Jason’s first cinematic appearance in this new era, as well as a very short back stage at the Peacock series Crystal lakewhich is too early in his production to reveal a lot. Maybe next SDCC, will there be a next panel with more details to share?
