Music tycoon Diddy, found guilty of blackmail and sex trafficking, was charged with prostitution after nearly two months of federal trial in New York City.
Prosecutors accused the Comb of using his celebrity identity and business empire to run a criminal business against sexual traffic women and cover up his crimes.
A panel of 12 jurors considered for 13 hours before acquitting three of the five worst charges he faced.
The rapper acknowledged domestic violence but denied any involuntary encounters or larger racket plans.
After the juror told the court, the mood in the court was extremely thrilled.
Before the comb left the court, he kneeled down and placed his face on the chair, as if praying. He was trembling.
The judge will consider whether to release the comb at EST 13:00 (18:00 BST).
Jurors told the court Tuesday that they had made a decision on sexual trafficking and transportation to file prostitution charges against combs, but they were unable to make a judgment on the extortion sentence.
Jurors said they had “not to exaggerate” opinions on the allegation, the most complex and serious of any counts that Combs faced.
A conspiracy of extortion, or directing illegal businesses under the Blackmail and Corrupt Organization Act (RICO), is the official name of the allegation.
To convict Mr Combs, the prosecutor must prove that he uses faithful employees to operate a criminal business in order to commit crimes, including sexual trafficking, kidnapping, drugs and obstruction of justice.
In this case, the network will include his staff, prosecutors argued, setting up “freaks” at the case center.
Defense attorneys argued that if Combs employees were unwisely accomplices, the case could not be considered a striking incident.
Prosecutors summoned more than 30 witnesses during the seven-week trial, including Comb ex-girlfriend, musician Casandra Ventura, rapper Kid Cudi, several former employees and hotel security staff.
They accused The comb relies on a “faithful” internal circle of employees to coerce his partner into what is called “freaks” whose girlfriend has sex with male escorts while watching and filming.
The government relied on Ms. Ventura’s testimony until her eight months of pregnancy. Combs puts pressure on her and threatens to release the freak’s videotape if she doesn’t obey him.
The center of their case is a video of a rapper beating and dragging Ms. Ventura in a 2016 hotel corridor, security staff proved that the comb tried to pay to delete.
Combs’ lawyers acknowledged that their client was violent against women but believed his actions were motivated by drugs and jealousy, rather than evidence of larger sexual trafficking and blackmail programs.
Both sex trafficking and blackmailing are sentenced to the greatest life sentence in prison.
The comb also faces dozens of civil lawsuits accusing of sexual assault and violence.
The Harlem-born rapper founded Bad Boys Records in 1993, which represents some of the big names in hip-hop – including the infamous Yamato usher. He went on to build a clothing line called Sean John, as well as various other businesses including perfumes, alcohol and even media companies.
