Following the success of the first edition in 2024, Seiko hosted a new exhibition at Seiko Seiko Seed Location in Harajuku. Aptly named Incredible Professional Watch Exhibition 2this new event will focus on new work by six in-house designers, each offering incredible professional watches for fictional characters like DJ, Ninjas, and Santa Claus and Vampires.
Club DJ’s professional watches attract audiences with their unique design that incorporates “Infinity Mirror” technology, creating the fantasy of endless space. Designed for dynamic conversion in black light, the watch features a dial that seamlessly combines Lumibrite and fluorescent paint, displaying from 6 to 5 a.m.
Ninja Stealth Watch is designed for stealth and can avoid time-selling. The design features a sliding cover and tactile hand and hour markers that allow careful time to read in the full darkness. Its accompanying deer leather belt draws inspiration from Japanese archery gloves and can be adjusted to suit a variety of arm sizes.
Designed for people with a nightly lifestyle, the watch focuses on a dial that displays time only between 6pm and 6am, and also has a rotating bezel with colored stones, representing Use translucent ink to avoid confusion since the last time of blood sucking and daytime covering.
As for the egg watch for boiled egg lovers, the piece is conceptualized and can help users get the perfect soft-boiled or cooked eggs. It has a unique plastic material that contains 10% eggshell, gradient dial and eco-friendly belt, which is also derived from eggs.
Santa’s professional watch features Arabic numbers from 7pm to 6am, designed to help him provide gifts in the evening. The soft, round curve of the watch reflects the soft presence of Santa, while the star-shaped GMT hand allows him to check the time of multiple time zones.
Last but not least, the girl in love’s watch is designed to enhance the excitement by combining the “Flower Destiny” function, with the disc hand spinning to reveal “Love me” or “Don’t Love me.” The hand uses a delicate petal design, while the dome glass refracts light to hide the secret feeling. This cute and thoughtful design is designed to bring joy and encouragement to young girls in love, and the pink belt is a pleasant secret that the wearer only knows.
Each watch reflects the designer’s creativity and the company’s commitment to innovation, thus pushing the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. The exhibition is open until February 16 and free admission is available. For more information, please visit the exhibition Official website.
