However, many latest national surveys show that Americans are not excited about the measure.
With a 21-point margin, voters are in the nearest Fox News National Poll Oppose federal budget legislation (38% supported, while 59% opposed), which was passed by the House of Representatives last month with just one vote.

The bill is also underwater in a national survey this month by The Washington Post (19 points cut), Pew Research (20 points cut) and Quinnipiac University (26 points cut).

When Democrats attacked the bill, they highlighted Republicans’ proposed restructuring of Medicaid — a nearly 60-year-old federal program that provides health coverage for approximately 71 million low-income Americans. Additionally, Senate Republicans have added Medicaid cuts amid the House of Representatives.

Change MedicaidIn addition to cutting food stamps, another of the major safety net plans nationwide is primarily to offset the cost of extending Trump’s 2017 tax cut, which will expire later this year. The measure includes a range of new rules and regulations, including job requirements for many people seeking Medicaid coverage.
Meanwhile, Republicans criticized Democrats who opposed the bill for voting to increase taxes for most Americans.
Voters surveyed by Fox News have opposed “a big beautiful bill” with profit margins of 59% to 38%. (Fox News)
About half of respondents in the Fox News poll said the bill would hurt their families (49%), while a quarter of respondents thought it would help (23%), while another quarter believed it would make a difference (26%).
60% felt they had a good understanding of the measure, formally known as the “big, beautiful bill”, and those voters were more likely to prefer legislation than those not familiar with the bill, but still thought it still thought it would be hurt rather than helping their families (45% vs. 34%).

The latest investigations have shown widespread partisan differences on the measures.
Nearly three-quarters of Republicans (73%) favor the bill, while nearly nine (89%) of ten Democrats (89%) and nearly three-quarters of independents (73%) opposed the measure, according to a Fox News poll conducted on June 13-16.
