Police said a car drove into a group of people and injured several people in Munich.
The force confirmed that major operations are underway in the Dachauer Strasse area.
It added that the driver was detained at the scene with no further danger.
According to Reuters, the operation took place near the city’s central railway station.
German newspapers quoted official sources as saying 15 people were injured.
According to local media reports, the incident occurred at a rally related to the Transport Union Verdi.
