MSNBC Host Pastor Al Sharpton New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani needs to meet with Jewish leaders to express support for his community after repeatedly refusing to condemn anti-Israel slogans.
In the MSNBC group, Sharpton said he did not believe in the democratic socialist Mamdani, Practice Muslimshas diseases for any disease in the Jewish community. But, he said Mamdani needs to clarify the term “globalization” he ran for mayor after winning the Democratic primary last week.

MSNBC Host Joined Mamdani At a National Action Network rally in Harlem on Saturday, a civil rights nonprofit founded by Sharpton in the early 1990s. The two also held a closed meeting together.

Sharpton said on MSNBC that when he met with Mamdani, he did not see evidence that the candidate was anti-Semitic, but he did need to condemn the statement.
He said: “Well, I think he definitely condemned from his verbal anti-Semitism and Islamophobia, but let’s deal with it directly. Let’s not surround this issue. We’re not talking about something subtle here.”
The host brought the case from his own experience, saying that he was summoned out of taking offensive language seriously early in his career as an activist and had to change.
