Base44 spread mostly by mouth as Shlomo, a 31-year-old developer, shared his building trip to Linkedin and Twitter. The project began as a side enterprise, he told Israeli technology news site CTECH.

It is one of the newer crops of VIBE code products designed for non-programmers.
