It may be the heat of summer, but we are already looking forward to autumn. But jumping from shorts and lightweight dresses to heavy-duty pants and raw denim doesn’t happen overnight. Enter: Skant.
Trousers in skirts and dresses are a very viable option for a cross-season wardrobe, and over the past year or so, I’ve been particularly interested in skiers – a pair of pants with built-in super trousers. Last summer, I invested in a pair of Paloma Wool (and perhaps the most important Skant Producor), a clear brown with a matching miniskirt. On a comfortable summer day I pair it with a vest and sandals, but when the weather cools, it works just as well as a cardigan.
I’m not the only one who sees the value of Skant, so too. For anyone who wants to try a different look, consider wearing pants. Last October, Kendall Jenner Wearing small trousers and flare pants. Skants or dresses are a coordinated look, a low lift method to lift a cross-season wardrobe.
