Casa-Estudio Max Cetto (1948) was the first home to be built in an upscale building block. Putting a global designer and brand under one roof, carpet brand cc-tapis Showcase new series with designers Eny Lee Parker And the Raag series previously with Doshi Levien and the archive lighting from Flos Archives and collectible furniture curated by Unno Gallery.
Original ceramic tile floors and volcanic rock and textured plaster on the walls are the backdrop for the display cabinet that combines contemporary works with the wooden building of the home architect Max Cetto. Flos’s smooth lighting design was selected with Unno Gallery from Caterina Moretti, Caterina Moretti, ōmbiadiepa, Andrea Vargas Dieppa, Cesar Nuñez and Habitacion116, adding fill space to Flos’ smooth lighting design , and fill the space with unique collections.
Hanging around the surrounding gardens on the floor, Eny Lee Parker and CC-tapis transformed her handmade clay form into Himalayan wool carpets. The partners are made in earthy colors like och, beige, brown and gray, with minimal method to paint amorphous engravings into tufted pieces.
On design, Parker said: “This process allowed me to bridge the physicality of carving with the artistic nature of textile design.” She further explained: “Each carpet reflects the transformative nature of clay – its forging, texture and connection to human touch.” Elsewhere, Doshi Levien’s 2024 CC-Tapis’ Raag collection draws on Indian craftsmanship and cultural inspiration. The designs revolve around the grid and seven bold shades, turning the classical Indian music system into visualization of technical colors.
