it Superman week and except some unobstructed dimwits that make their best to break entertainmentI’m glad to change some of my favorite Superman media.
One of the stones of the Blue stones in my upbringing Superman: The Animated SeriesThe follow-up of the game change Batman: The Animated Series. While that series has a reputation for the darker, more terrible stories, Superman: The Animated Series often showing the most motivated and best of the original superhero and his world.
But the show is ready to dip feet in the darker material. Although most probably names the alternate stage “bold new metropolis” as the dark outing of the show, there was a pushed area than a fascist superman. And it reminds us why Clark Kent is the most important part of Superman.
“The Last G. Kent”
In “The Late Gr. Kent”, the stage opened with Clark Kent’s funeral. It turns out that Clark investigates an inspiration in the death of death and found evidence that weakens him. On his way to evidence, a car bomb exploded and Superman believed he was placed in a scenario where he could not show his secret recognition.
This is a strong prize for a superman story that allows reflection of why Clark Kent is an important part of the world. She is not just a legitimate checker that seeks to do the right thing, but her death also reveals what she means to her work partner, lois lane.
There is also a small but important moment when Clark’s return to his parents. They start talking about how they move forward. Pa Kent says Clark is no longer possible Clark. “But I’m Clark! I need Clark. I’m mad if I’m superman all the time!”
Here where the stage is actually hit home is important and Clark Kent needs. He is not some work placed outside for the benefit of others. She is not a costume for wearing Superman. Clark Kent is Clark Kent and he should be supposed to be Superman a role he played. If he had to play with him forever, he was not true to himself.
While that’s all good cematic meat to chew on, the dark episode gets a lot of inkier if the villain is revealed.
Bad cop, no donut
It turns out that the Detective Bowman of the Metropolis Police Force is actually killing and doing all his power to cover his tracks, including a person who is innocent to die. The idea alone that an animated series targeted by children would make such a plot enough to be themselves. But Nasicer is good!
We don’t just have a rotten, killer police like a baddie, but his last fate is one of the most shocked cartoons superhero. Then Superman stops killing and saved the innocent person, the end has Bowman in his own murder.
I won’t go to death penalty for this piece, but I say that even the touch of this subject’s subject is children who showed that Cluncman Superman and the killer throwing up the switch.
“The latter G. Kent” is properly celebrated as one of the greatest stages of Superman: The Animated Series. It gives more studies than usual in Clark instead of Superman and argue why no Superman without Clark Kent. Then, the deep end of the end should appear to be believed.
