A drone system designed to face school shooters with school shooters in seconds could soon become a frontline defense Classrooms throughout the United States.
Texas-based campus guardian Angel developed the technology that can carry out drones within the school, ready to deploy emergency alerts at the moment.
The drones are remotely controlled at a central operation center in Austin, Texas, and stored in a charging box inside the school.
Once activated, they are designed to launch powder particles to lose shooters within 60 seconds and to charge local law enforcement time to arrive at the site.

“In mass shootings, most of the shootings happened within the first 120 seconds, most of the shootings were over, before law enforcement arrived at the scene… you already had to get there, and in some joint tests we did with the school, we were still getting there in law enforcement even if the law enforcement was on the scene, just in law enforcement to get there because we were playing it throughout the building,” he said. ”
Marston compared the system to the sprinkler because the tool neutralizes the threatening tools are already on site and can be deployed at any time.

He also said the approach is cost-effective, totaling $4 per child per month, but the number in larger areas has dropped.
“So, protecting your children with the Air Force will be the same as one-way domestic economic flight tickets throughout K-12 education.”

Marston says Florida government Ron DeSantis The pilot program for drones in three counties in Sunshine State has been approved, and private schools in other states are currently working with Campus Guardian Angels to secure their location.
