Thailand’s same -sex marriage is legalized, and couples say “I am willing” in unison

The BBC interviewed the LGBTQ couple in Thailand, and they held a collective wedding on the same day of legalization of same -sex marriage in Thailand.

After the law took effect on Thursday, more than 100 new couples held a wedding in Siam Paragon, a luxury shopping center in the center of Bangkok.

LGBTQ couples now have the same rights as other couples to manage the medical care, inherit, adopt, and decide their partners in the management

All parts of Thailand are trying to celebrate this legal milestone through gifts such as party and paper cakes, bags and free tickets.

Thailand has long been regarded as a shelter of the LGBTQ crowd, and it is still a alien in Asia, but activists said they are striving for more changes, because many laws still have no gender neutrality.
