As a beauty editor, I never underestimate the power of a good pedicure. Of course, their attention is not as good as Manicure Do it, but whether you make an appointment or DIY, they are still worth the time and money. Not only is pedicure a fun and low-key way to color it also leaves me feeling totally helpless. Even if my hair is not styled and I don’t wear makeup, I can’t help but feel like it can be expressed with my shiny, polished toes.
Before the summer formally hits, I need to know which nail polish color to choose for the upcoming pedicure, so I contacted the professionals. According to Nail artist, before, see the top five colors for summer 2025.
Fire red
Celebrity and Editorial Manicure Marisa Carmichael It is recommended that you perform red pedicures. However, she does not recommend any red shades, rather than cow cloth, classic crimson or brick red. No. She likes the fiery orange.
In color psychology, red evokes love, passion, excitement, and energy. I don’t know you, but I want all these things. Is there a better way to express them than wearing fiery red on your toes? The fact that it gives the ultimate femme fatale energy is just a reward.
milky
Celebrity Nail Artist Lucy Tucker I like the creamy whiteness of pedicures in summer. The color is soft, subtle and stylish, in line with the recent trend of creamy manicures that have been circulating on the internet. Use this as a sign and wear it on your toes.
Juicy oranges
Carmichael recommends a “beautiful orange”, i.e., the bright, juicy shade of orange. It’s bold and happy, basically screaming summer. It even gave me the atmosphere of the 70s, which I like. While this has been one of my summer pedicure colors for years, I have to admit that Carmichael’s expert approval made me feel proven and inspired and wear it again in 2025. Orange toes, I’m here.
Crispy coral
Corals and oranges seem to be similar, but they are different. The former has much more pink than the latter. In fact, it’s almost perfect 50-50 pink and orange combination, making it look classic, vibrant and in Palm Springs style. Tucker recommends including it in the summer of 2025 pedicure.
Sky blue
Tucker has made Sky Blue a column one of her favorite pedicure colors, and I have to agree. This is one of my favorite summer shadows ever. I just like the look when it peeks out from me sandals. It is as fresh, bright and breeze as the summer sky.
Home pedicure tips and tips
If you are a DIY person, experts will have some tips and tricks to share to achieve the perfect home pedicure. See all the best suggestions below.
Never skip the cuticle on your toes
The key to a truly professional pedicure? Tucker said it was all in preparation. “Clean cuticle will be different in the final look,” she said. “Gently push and remove any overgrowth. It even makes a regular Polish look professional.”
Polished nails smooth
Once the cuticle is taken care of, the nail buffer can be extended. “Quick polish provides a smoother foundation for Poland, making bare toenails look healthier,” Tucker said.
Hydration is the key
“Dry heels and toes destroy pedicures. Use rich foot cream or balm every day, especially around the heels, big toes and sides of the foot,” Tucker said. Carmichael agreed, adding that soaking the feet before the dorm pedicure is a good idea to supplement and soften skin that is often or bone.
Their feet are submitted when they are dry – not wet
You might think it’s best to exfoliate with foot files on wet skin, but that’s not the case. “Dry application can perform precise exfoliation and give smoother, longer-lasting results, especially near high heels and pressure points,” Tucker said.
Don’t forget the primer
Last but not least, Tucker recommends applying a primer before a traditional nail polish. “Especially in darker colors, always use the base to prevent staining and help polish adhere better,” she said.
